Labor Day Weekend Tournament: A Family Golf Celebration
Mark your calendars for the Labor Day Weekend Family Golf Tournament at McLemore Resort on Sunday, September 1, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Hosted at the beautiful McLemore Clubhouse, located at 32 Clubhouse Lane, Rising Fawn, GA, this exciting event invites parent/adult and child pairs to team up for a 9-hole scramble tournament.
The tournament is designed for junior golfers ages 5-13, making it a fantastic opportunity for families to engage in friendly competition and bond over the game of golf.
Check-in begins at 2:00 PM, and the tournament tees off at 3:00 PM. Teams with children ages 7 and older will play on the scenic Highlands course, while younger teams with children under 7 will enjoy the shorter Cairn course. After the tournament, families can look forward to a celebratory cookout in the Clubhouse Courtyard, complete with non-alcoholic beverages, followed by a golf clinic led by PGA professional Charlie Rymer.
